since changing the chainset on my singlespeed, the chain ended up a bit slacker (obviously slightly smaller chain ring)

So how tight is too tight for the chain, I presume there should be a little slack......but how much exactly? It's a slidey dropout with chaintugs.

When the BB starts moving towards the rear wheel, it's too tight!

If the chain stays on it's tight enough. I only tighten my chain when it falls off.

slack enough so the chain can wobble about 1cm up and down when no load on it.

If you used a superstar rear cog like i did, it'll be tight for half it's rotation, then slack for the 2nd. So just find a happy medium! ๐Ÿ˜‰

But i usually aim for about 1-1.5cm wobble.
