just shortened my hose , used decent cutters and got a clean cut. tried to open up the olive a bit to get over the braid . just ended up cacking up the braiding and then snapping the olive.
so when my new olives arrive any tips to get the little ****er on

Nope you got to cut the plastic outer off 🙂 right sized olive? 6mm?
outer off and olive that was fitted already so **** knows bloody things ;-(
Hmm - maybe olive was compressed and too narrow after being refitted - perhaps new one will be a bit wider 🙂
you get 5mm and 6mm ones, make sure you have a 6mm and cut the outter off the hose, if its a tight fit pput a screw driver through the opening to prize it open a bit.....

Go get Goodridge 8) the hope ones are sihte 😐 . If you must use the the olive again just open it up slightly with a knife, but try not to cut yourself!
