I thought I had meths, but we'd used it all and once these things were made I was under quite a lot of pressure to let them use them, so off I went to buy some.
Homebase was where I ended up and seriously out of pocket!
Having looked around for other outlets, the cheapest I could find was the local market @ £2.50 per half litre.
I'm astonished - I'm sure the last time I bought meths it was about 65p a half-litre bottle!

Check ebay - a fiver per gallon last time I looked (a few months ago).
I buy meths for work - it is ferociously expensive, but that is high.
I buy 80lts at the start of a year.

Well Chaps, Matt is the only one who's found it cheaper than my local market, but only if I buy at least 5 litres each time. I'm gobsmacked at how pricey it is!
Maybe it's that expensive to try and stop people drinking it?
