About 32lb with pedals on average, under 30lb with SPD's and a normal post, could probbaly be under 29 comfortably with the OEM wheels and light tyres. Holiday mode depends on the holiday, I think the record is about 38lb with DH bits and the reverb, lightest was the 29lb with SPD's and conti superonics for a trail center.
Medium Pitch but still air front and rear, dropper post, hope 2 / flows / FR4's, stubby stem, steel chainrings (2) / heavy cassette, mud / gaffer tape / million zip ties / far too much grease etc = 35.1 lbs.
It gets a bit heavy when it needs lifting over fences / gates etc at the end of a ride, but I've deliberately gone for a (cheap-ish) burly build.

I've no idea (nor care) how much weight its added but I've replaced pretty much all bolts / fixings with chunky stainless steel parts, except the m14 axles

Anyway - not everybody is the same weight. I know that at 60kg, I'd want to keep a 160mm bike at around 30lb, with only tyre changes dipping it under or over.

The new 2013 mega is about a pound lighter so that will be interesting to see.

Not necessarily, but it does counter your suggestion that the bike is only used for trail centres. Obviously it would have to be built a lot more solidly to survive the rigours of the constant trolling on here.

And I'd say that a bunch of people automatically jumping to negative conclusions about someone based on a scrap of information about a bike is a somewhat larger part of what's wrong with this place. "His bike is a bit lighter than mine - he mus be a mincer/doesn't know how to ride it/etc, etc." is either jealousy or trolling. Grren face, either way.
I'd like to thank GW, after two of his posts in any thread I now stop reading as they seem to go off topic and verge on bickering.

Your bikes inspired my Ady! For the time being at least - picked the frame up for just under 600, a change is always good. Inital impressions seems to be that the shock is indeed quite a hard tune, but climbs well and jumps better. Quite like it and was fine in nagery singletrack, tho not quite as good as my nickel (that is 3 inches shorter tho!).
Why do you think a dropper's essential for the alps? I found mine pointless with the extended descents, barely used it. And then I broke it in a crash! Wouldn't be without it here but I'll probably not bother with it next time.
Guess like anything it depends on what you ride when you're there. Totally agree it's pointless on the Pleny etc, but on some of the slightly undulating singletrack that's less well known it's quite handy. Even when I was in Whistler it was useful ocassionally (riding rom the bottom lift to the bottom of the top lift! Certainly when we rode with Riveriabike they came into their own, that's more the martime alps than the alps proper.

Came in at 31 all in. Feels alot heavier.
My 2012 Patriot is about 32-33 lbs with Van180 forks, 1x9, CCDB coil shock - thompson post+stem. Formula RX brakes.
The main weight savings are in the Easton Havoc wheelset and a set of Minion EXO tyres set up tubeless. Still got 2.5 tyres, and big hit performance, but not a lot of weight ๐
Tried it with a Float RP23 shock, so lost a fair bit more, but was a bit of a trapdoor feeling - shock was off an alpine 160, so likely needed a different tune to handle the extra leverage.
My Five is now pushing 30lbs - just got a Marz 44RC3 ti fork on there - first ride about to commence this PM..
Stanton slackline, fox 36's 160mm, hope brakes, headset, BB, stem, Nukeproof hubs and bars, spank subrosa rims, minion front, high roller II rear...

I built mine with a view in mind that although light, it would last. So far it's done 2 Mega's, a load of uplift days, some DH races, all sorts of trail riding, some enduro races etc - so pretty much everything.
No issues with anything. The only thing I do when riding DH, racing or going to the Alps is chuck a set of dual ply tyres on it.
To be fair, where I live, i've been having more fun riding DH on it than I have my DH bike - so I sold it. Will be racing this next season instead ๐

I have 203s on the front of mine, even though it really doesn't need it. Reason being, it means the brakes can be working incredibly badly yet still stop me 
What gadgetry is everyone using to weigh these exactly? Bathroom scales are no good for the job surely?
Having said that my 31 lbs seemed a bit light so I double checked my scales, they weren't calibrated correctly...doh. Now reading 33 lbs, which seems a bit more accurate.
So once I've stuck on my alpine tyres it'll be over 34, and thats with air shocks both ends.
I was using some Park scales and I just lifted the bike up by holding the scales to weigh it.
