[#13536346]

I just bought a new pump. I had to, and it is the last one I need. Honest. Apart from this one I have 5 mini pumps, a track pump and an electric mini pump. And a compressor (Middle of Lidl). And I can use the car pump to do my tyres. Am I sick? Or just normal?

I've got a mini pump  attached to each bike, even the one on the turbo, two track pumps and a box full of older mini pumps that I keep forgetting about.

I think you're normal, for this place at least!

Two track pumps (high volume and high pressure), one foot pump, one mini pump for each bike and a digital pressure gauge, just in case the other three gauges on different pumps don't work.

Entirely 🤔 normal

3 mini pumps of varying mininess

2 track pumps, one with a Clik valve head on it.

2 shock pumps. Everyone has forgotten those so far.

Shock pump, 4 track pumps (none are perfect) 3 mini pumps that are MINE (one lives in my hip pack, another in my commuter’s small frame bag of tools) and maybe another 6-10 mini pumps of varying usefulness spread between the house and garage that are up for grabs by anyone else.

Cheapo Decathlon slightly outsized mini pump with retractable hose is the best, by some distance, although the general standard mini pumps has improved in the last decade.

Track pumps live and die by the hardiness of the rubber bung thing in the shaft.

A Blackburn track pump (the second in about 30 years), a Leyzne alloy drive pump (20+ years old), a shock pump I got with a Magura fork (20+ years old), and a Coospo electric mini pump. I've also got a couple of Leyzne control drive CO² inflator heads.

Shock pump (Topeak, bombproof)

Mini pump (good as new, never need to use it)

2 Lidl track pumps, neither perfect but have lasted really well; gauge doesn't work on one, the other measures accurately but haemorrhages air if you stop pumping. Waiting for the next PSA.

I forgot my two shock pumps, the newer one being a Topeak that DEFINITELY releases pressure when unscrewing, not just air in the body. It's rubbish.

Have various other car/tent pumps etc too

Just a PlanetX Pharrt track pump, a ~26 year old (Toys'r'us?) plastic mini and a metal Zefel mini that's become the new ride pump in recent months.

Off the top of my head,

25l compressor

Joe Blow track pump

Cycplus electric pump

2 X Blackburn mountain morph

2 x Toprak shock pump

2 or 3 rockshox shock pumps

Digital shock pump

3 or 4 C02 trigger systems

I think that's it.

My most recent purchase is a Topeak tyre/shock digital pump combo that deflates shocks and is a total pain to attach to presta valves.  Sounded ideal for travel but is in fact utterly rubbish ☹️

Couple of track pumps, a mini pump, about a million shock pumps (despite having never bought  one, just that have come with shocks/forks/happy meals) and an airshot.

Erm….. a few……..

Two track pumps, one in cellar, one in van.

Two shock pumps, one in. Camelbak(#oldskool), one on tool board, possibly a third in the van.

Both gravel bikes have one each.

Road bike has one.

One in the commuter pannier bags.

we both have a c02 head/cannister.

Tasha has one in her hip bag.

Air can for tubeless, not a pump per say, but I’ll include it.

Trek electric pump which has been very impressive. I tend to use this rather than the track pump.

Most of the above is Lezyne, nicely made kit.

6 mini pumps on bikes

2 broken mini pumps - I'm sure they will be useful for something.

1 full size frame pump- awesome! Also carbon because the shop couldn't shift it and offered it to me for the price of an alloy one.

2 track pumps

1 shock pump

Compressor (middle of Lidl. Just used it for the first non bike task in 15 years- sprayed a fence with it!)

Shock pump.

14.

Eh 3 trackpumps (2 joe blow mountains, one in the car, plus a standard joe blow for the commuter because it wants more pressure). And I think 4 little pumps, a mix of mountain morphs and truflo 2-stages, but I only really use one, the others are basically spares because none of those last forever in a pack. Plus a little topump battery inflator and a big ol garage compressor and a now-pointless fire extinguisher tubeless inflator.

3 shock pumps (a turn of the century marzocchi one, a rockshox one and another)

1 cheap Halfords track pump

1 mini pump

1 co2 inflator

1 schwalbe tyre booster.

I want a high pressure track pump. Thinking about an SKS to inflate the tire booster as my cheap Halfords track pump struggles past 120psi

A whole drawer full of mini pumps, plus one with each of the 3 bikes, and 2 cycleplus electric ones, and a Topeak JoeBlow Booster floor one…..

I actually sold about 4 mini pumps last year and haven’t bought any since 🙄

Two track pumps - so there is always one at home if I'm away somewhere with my eldest and Mrs NS needs one. One is a really old Scott that was revived using a new BBB head, and prising it apart and greasing the rubber seal with slickoleum; the other is a Topeak JoeBlow Booster (used mostly for seating tyres). One Lezyne mini pump that goes on all rides (though access to my son's if I need a second one). One Topeak shock pump (that has been great since day one).

Track pump

Mini pump

Frame mounted track pump thing.

2x CO2 inflators plus gas cannisters for racing only (hate single use things generally but always carry one in a race) Do they count?

Shock pump in the tool box

Shock pump in the van

Electric pump in the van

Foot pump for an airbed. Not sure where the airbed is. Might have leant it to someone but god knows who.

And an Air shot, does that count?

.

.

There's various pumps built into the washing machine, fridge, freezer, bits of the van (screen wash one is broken, needs replaced, power steering, oil, fuel, etc, etc) but that's probably not what the question is about.

rockbros were electric pump in hippack

A pair of old fox shock pumps fitted with new gauges  one Lp (up to 150psi)  one hp in home toolbox.  a really nice magura pump with a lossless head in the van toolkit

Loads of mini pumps.  A lezyne in the road bike. Mountain morph in the Mtb backpack (the only one that reliably inflates tyres without breaking valves  the rest are just moral support really

In active use:

4 x mini electric pumps (one per bike...)

3 x mini manual pumps (backups for the electric ones but one I switch between bikes as it's mounted on the fork legs so less faff)

1 x bigger electric pump

1 x track pump (with tubeless inflator chamber)

1 x shock pump

Somewhere in the garage:

1 x track pump

3 x mini manual pumps

2 x shock pumps
