Just a clubmate ๐ riding our club's trails and fimed by another clubmate:
Wowzer.
๐
Nice video.
I often ride better at night on technical stuff as you just have this tunnel of vision and no distractions.
Thats a good looking video and in answer to your original question, not me...
Nope but i want some of them shorts
Good vid although a fine example of the Wadsworth Constant ๐
Nice vid. Surely 2 Exposure Six Packs is brighter than daylight though?
Good vid, its hard to make a good night riding vid.
Where were those trails then ?
Cracking video, I don't even come close to that at any time of the day (maybe in my dreams :-))
Nice vid
Chris is a damned talented rider it has to be said.
I remember watching him suicide no hand a 20ft drop near Cheddar over and over again, never quite happy it was 100% perfect- looking blimmin' smooth to me!
Shame he has never made more of his talents on the bike ๐ (as in got the recognition he deserves)
where are these trails?
I reckon I could ride most of that at night. If I eat enough cheese before bed. ๐
Nice video, I liked that.
In the day I could ride it. At night, who knows, maybe after lots of sessions in the day. Nice vid.

where are these trails?
They are on land we lease from Longleat Forest (so can legally build, dig and ride there). BUT you have to be a paid-up member of our club to build, dig and ride them*, so please don't just show up.
(*although guests accompanied by members can try-before-they-buy membership).
๐
Thurman Merman- are there decent XC routes in Longleat Forest?
There's a guy on* here who does all that shit with just a candle in a jamjar
(is he on a ban ?)
Dan, theres plenty of singletrack and trails in the woods other than the black canon collective member's tracks. None of it waymarked though.
Enough to keep you entertained for a couple of hours if you know where to look ๐
here is some vids of me mincing round!
I reckon I could ride that at any time of the day or night. Maybe not ride it anything like as well, but I could get down it. I suspect most halfway competent riders could get down it too.
Interestingly I find night riding helps me focus on the trail more. I tend to ride stuff faster and better. A recent example being a night ride at Dalby where I got some big berms spot on. Went back in the daytime and wasn't nearly as fast/smooth.
sweet rider
Thurman Merman- are there decent XC routes in Longleat Forest?
Yup. There's WAAAAAAY more than 2hrs worth if you REALLY know where to look ๐ But TBH they're all pretty shonky and best avoided at this time of year.
That said we hold regular, well-attended, XC night-rides every Tuesday around the forest. As well as a lot of other XC group rides. And DH races, XC mini-enduros, weekly bike polo [s]fights[/s] games, velodrome trips yada yada yada...

Nice trails, I wish I could ride them with such panache!
Nice.. but the dub step made my ears bleed.
Nice.. but the dub step made my ears bleed.
Agreed. Truly terrible soundtrack.
shall have to remember thatโ&wadsworth=1โ
longleat, hmm
I don't think anyone round here can colour co-ordinate, build trails or shoot video to that sort of standard even in the daylight.
Nice video and the trails look awesome, but the music ruined it a bit for me.
nice nice nice ๐
only criticism - could be (should be) longer!
Lovely vid... Hard to tell, but didn't see anything I wouldn't ride day or night, though I'd definately do it much, much less well ๐
puts hand up...................
ha, was just going to send you this link tony..
๐
Probally not first time in dark but..
If it was a trail i'd built and ridden loads then prob yeah i'd have a crack.
