Nice video.

I often ride better at night on technical stuff as you just have this tunnel of vision and no distractions.

Chris is a damned talented rider it has to be said.

I remember watching him suicide no hand a 20ft drop near Cheddar over and over again, never quite happy it was 100% perfect- looking blimmin' smooth to me!

Shame he has never made more of his talents on the bike ๐Ÿ˜• (as in got the recognition he deserves)

I reckon I could ride most of that at night. If I eat enough cheese before bed. ๐Ÿ™‚

In the day I could ride it. At night, who knows, maybe after lots of sessions in the day. Nice vid.

They are on land we lease from Longleat Forest (so can legally build, dig and ride there). BUT you have to be a paid-up member of our club to build, dig and ride them*, so please don't just show up.

(*although guests accompanied by members can try-before-they-buy membership).

Dan, theres plenty of singletrack and trails in the woods other than the black canon collective member's tracks. None of it waymarked though.

Enough to keep you entertained for a couple of hours if you know where to look ๐Ÿ˜‰

here is some vids of me mincing round!

I reckon I could ride that at any time of the day or night. Maybe not ride it anything like as well, but I could get down it. I suspect most halfway competent riders could get down it too.

Interestingly I find night riding helps me focus on the trail more. I tend to ride stuff faster and better. A recent example being a night ride at Dalby where I got some big berms spot on. Went back in the daytime and wasn't nearly as fast/smooth.

Yup. There's WAAAAAAY more than 2hrs worth if you REALLY know where to look ๐Ÿ˜‰ But TBH they're all pretty shonky and best avoided at this time of year.

That said we hold regular, well-attended, XC night-rides every Tuesday around the forest. As well as a lot of other XC group rides. And DH races, XC mini-enduros, weekly bike polo [s]fights[/s] games, velodrome trips yada yada yada...

I don't think anyone round here can colour co-ordinate, build trails or shoot video to that sort of standard even in the daylight.

Nice video and the trails look awesome, but the music ruined it a bit for me.

Lovely vid... Hard to tell, but didn't see anything I wouldn't ride day or night, though I'd definately do it much, much less well ๐Ÿ˜†
