I've offered to help out transporting bikes for a ride in the summer and rashly said I can probably fit a dozen in my LWB Caravelle. Have I let everyone down, and more importantly, let myself down ?
I got 9 in a SWB Peugeot Expert last year, with room to spare.
Depends how much faffing you want, but this was with the front wheels off, sideways across and stacked from the bulkhead where it's at its widest due to the sliding doors. Plenty of padding between to stop them rattling against each other.
Should be in tbh, with seats out.
Would easily manage 12 in my swb t4 with wheels off.
many many many. i regularly shove 6 or 7 in with the rear seats in. if you do not have rear seats and you were being careful i reckon probably 20
