The bike shop have just gotten my race maxx light in stock which I'm picking up tomorrow, for the 24/12.
How long for the initial charge? If it's more than 8 hours I could be in trouble - and I don't fancy borking them before I've even used them.
You can't really overcharge them (that I've found). And I don't think there is an initial charge thing. I think its that you charge it for 3 hours, it will give you 3 hours of run time, charge it for 2, it will give you 2, etc. etc.
Excellent - I was a bit worried as I'm picking it up last thing wednesday night and then catching the fishguard ferry first thing thursday so was a little bit "mmmmhh".
Cheers!
Read the manual when you get it, and check.
A 2010 Race takes 8 hours to fully charge or 6 hours for 90% charge.
Oh yeah, that makes sense actually, I've been thinking in terms of my joystick, but the race has got double the batteries, so double the times.
Going to check the manual - I just wanted a heads up on if I needed to make a break from work for 2 hours to grab the lights and then stick them on charge, or if just overnight will do.
Looks like just overnight will do.
Cheers all.
again here read the manual
Get the shop to do it?
i think they come charged.
ask exposure - not us.
edit: exposure are charging lights at the race - so go by and ask them if it needs charging.
