I've got a Roberts DogsBolx single speed, apparently the first SS one they were asked to build, it's now nine years old.

It shares garage space with a Vicious Cycles Groover F/S, which is custom sized and I believe there is only one other Groover in the country and that's a stock sized one.

The GF has a Soma Groove, not too comon but not exclusive either.

OOh and I used to own a titanium SS Pompino, with Cooks Bros cranks and WTB Dirt Drop bars but that got sold to a guy in Notingham a few years back. Should have hung onto that one.

No matter how much you all spaff over how old, or how rare, or how unique they are ultimately they are all just a bunch of tubes that are bikes. And bikes ain't that spectacular. They are just bikes.

Yeah, that 5-spot you always go on about....just a bike!

I've seen plenty of other bikes listed that I'd like to own.

Some folks' lives aren't just a competition TLR, and let's face it, it's hardly unexpected/interesting that he owns one of those.

I own the following...

Maverick Durance, not ultra rare, but only seen a couple of others in the UK. Seen a few ML8s or ML7s though over the years, still not exactly common.

Genesis Altitude 853, mass produced steel hardtail, yet strangely never seen another one on the trails! Also I only know of one other person that owns one...

Giant Reign X, mass produced long travel full sus, never seen another on the trails, and only know of one other person that owns one...

On One Inbred 29er... Common as muck, but great to ride!

Cotic BFe, seen quite a few now, and also mine is in the original battleship grey so probably the most common colour out there now.

For many years I owned a Jason McRoy replica S-Works Team Edition Stumpjumper M2 complete with the Carbon Fibre legged Specialized/Rockshox Judy's... Apparently only a handful ever came into the UK, so that was pretty rare!

White Orange 5 and a red Inbred 456.

only unique in spec and rider style, but i like them. Also spent most of the last 3 years riding in italy so not seen any others on the trails.

Soon ss will be common enough for me to buy one.

Trying desperately to ignore the "All your bikes are going to get nicked now" (Should I post my address and times I go to work too?) and "Bikes are just bits of metal" (well f- off to a different forum then) and "You can't compete with one of the original Marin guys" (oh ffs).
Anyway..
Yeti 575 '06 (even me mate's got one!)
Cove Handjob (even me other mate's got one!)
Rocky Mountain Solo Road bike (rare on this forum that's for sure)
Principia Mac B (1995, converted to SS) That has to be rare!

A friend of mine has the best bike shed I know, including; a Jones, Speedvagen cross, Pegoretti road, Vicious cross, Enigma audax, all custom. Plus a few other very nice 'off the shelf' bikes. No, I'm not telling you where he lives.

Mine are all Singulars...

Orange mr XC - first one sold (I suppose its just an older orange 5, so not very niche!)
Specialized P3 - popular jump bike - not niche
Sunn Roader - pre-bankrupsy steel road bike - fairly exclusive
Cannondale Gemini - not exclusive, but probably is on here
NS Bikes Surge - not seen another one, there's probably one or 2 on here, fairly exclusive

2007 Spesh Stumpy HT - common as muck but mine's had a fortune spent on it so probably a unique spec.
2008 Spesh Rockhopper Disk - common as much (wife's steed)
2010 Spesh Allez Elite - common as muck - seen loads around.

So not at all exclusive but all do the job they were made for flawlessly.
