[Closed] how easy is it to remove an alfine rear wheel?

Gonna get a badboy tomorrow and like the look of the alfine one. how easy is it to get the rear wheel out if i were to get a puncture?

Unhook the shifter cable, loosen the nuts, out it comes. Mine's in a sliding dropout frame, it's probably a bit simpler with a tensioner taking care of the chain for you, slightly harder if you're using it with a chaintug in a slot dropout frame.

You need to carry some kinda spanner with you, which is a bit of a pita.
I find the wheel removal not too tricky after having done it a few times. Honestly the system is great for a commuter, had no issues in 9 months.

I have an EBB which (imo) is the way forward.

I can't see why it would be a pita to carry a spanner.

I quite like the idea of an EBB, but I also like sliding dropouts. Which is better...
