Forestry Commission website says Red & Black runs closed [i]to avoid trail damage as a result of the recent snow and ice until further notice.[/i]
Is this still the case? Will phone tomoz to check but just wondered if anyone knows? (Seems a bit strange for all weather manmade trails!)

Not sure. I haven't been in to Dalby since before the snows.
They were closed officially last week, but we've had a good dry spell so I would assume they're open. Plenty of people have been riding them from what I've heard.
Its been mild and dry for at least a week in Yorkshire. give em a ring at purple mountain first to check, but Id hazard a guess that the trails are fine, its just their web updater is lazy/forgetful.
