Bit of a numpty question, I know, but need to bleed my brakes today for tomorrow's ride. Was going to take them down to the LBS but a combination of cost and time means it's gonna have to be a DIY job!
Have done Hopes before, nice and easy, just hoping that some kind soul on here can point me in the right direction for some instructions ๐
There is an instruction leaflet on the Shimano tech pages. They're pretty easy but the official shimano method uses a cup/reservoir screwed into the master cylinder and a syringe at the caliper. As far as I know other methods will work.
make reservoir horizontal, remove lid, spread pistons apart and keep them that way.
attach a tube to bleed nipple, open quarter a turn, squeeze brake lever slowly to bar, close bleed nipple, release brake lever. Repeat until no air comes out and keep the reservoir topped up (I find every 2 lever depressions). Tap hose to get bubbles out and to top.

EDIT: should be identical to your Hopes, no?
