Bought some shorts that don't fit. Do I just take them in their packaging to the post office with the form and they sort it? Or do I have to package it all up form inside - the address on the form isn't a freepost and their instructions aren't that clear.

Instructions here are pretty clear: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/customer-service/returning-an-item

The post office defintely wont be packaging them for you

Print off return label; print off (and/or complete) return form saying why you're returning them (and say whether you want another size or refund...)

I think I'm missing something. There's a returns form but no 'label' for packaging which is what is confusing me. I didn't expect that the Post Office would package up but one of the points for Royal Mail returns reads "Only parcels with the correct Royal Mail Returns label will be accepted at the Post Office." Anyone know what it means by label?

Step 5 in the above link changes depending on who and how you choose to return the item

Whoever it is you choose there is a link to create a returns label

go to the return section of their website and download a Royal Mail postage paid label or a Collect plus one, your choice. It's just a case of clicking the links...

It looks a flaff for the first time you do it but it’s really easy. As above

Call them if you still don't understand it, the instructions can be confusing for certain types of item (not shorts though TBF).

Usually get a friendly helpful staff member to explain.
