My forks came with a different colour decal that i would like to apply but i can't seem to get the old sticker off!

Is there some magic way/technique i am missing as i know some on here have removed theirs.

Cheers in advance.

Hairdryer and white spirit or similar

ah, i'd thought about using the hairdryer but wasn't sure if it would just heat up the paint/clear coating.

whatever you do you'll need a solvent to get glue residue off

WD40 is pretty effective at dissolving, or at least softening, most adhesives.

Are they lacquered over? - if so you're stuck with them unless you're brave enough to attack then with Scotchbrite and prepared to re-lacquer afterwards. My Lyrik ones are clear-coated.

just picked at a corner 'till there was enough to get hold of.
an old credit card or similar might help to lift a corner?

good luck

A sharp stanley blade and tweezers help, but do try get a corner and peel first. Then some rubbing alcohol and some denim or tough cloth.
