I have a Cyclo branded cassette lockring tool that has a hex nut with which to turn it. For removing the cassette a long adjustable spanner is just dandy but I can't find a socket that's the right size to fit it so I can attach my torque wrench for fitting the new cassette.
The nut appears to be the same size a Bikehut and Park tools version of the same tool.
A 24mm is too small and a 27mm is too big. I assume I need an imperial 1" socket?
Does anyone know what size socket I need?

1" IIRC.
It's about 1" across (which is why I thought I might need a 1" socket) but I assumed that it would be metric.
I rather hope it is imperial, all this dodgy metric measurement is far too complicated 😉
just checked and I'm using a 15/16ths socket..... there's a tiny bit of movement so prob not 1"
15/16" AF = 23.81mm.
I know the lockring tool is the same size as the hex cut out on the park chain whip, but for removal I'm sure I normall use a 1" spanner, although I used an adjustable the last time.

In this case mine can't be 15/16 AF as a 24mm socket's too small
Mine works perfect with a 1" spanner and nearly as good with a 26mm socket (a bit loose).
