Hi all its new light time so have been looking at a Vision 2. What do people think of them and how do they compare to the Magicshine or recommend me another light for around £150 .

Cheers 🙂

A couple of people I ride with have got them, and really rate them. Seem well made too. Can't comment on the Magicshine as a comparison, but I got a Minewt a few years ago for not much less than £150, and it's nowhere near as bright as the Vision 2.

Had my vision 2 for about a year , really good light strong and well built
I'd recommend it as a helmet light as it is more of a flood , its really bright for what it is !

have vision 2. solidly built and good flood. recently brought a joystick for the helmet which seem to make a good combination.

There is probably brighter for the money but I would say for the build quailty and warranty* (if required) it is worth it.

* had a problem about 18 months after purchase and they (Hope) sorted it really quickly (and without charge!).

I would be looking at the Vision 2 as a flood on the bars and continue using my cree torch as a lid light. I'd quite like a joystick or maybe a spark but the funds just wont stretch that far. The magicshine gets good reviews and works out cheaper but Hope is considerabley closer to home and has great service.
