Does anyone know if a new hope v2 brake is due for release in october? I seem to remember reading it online, but no amount of googling can find it again so don't know if I just dreamt it. Seem to remember something about 25% power increase so would be worth waiting for if true.
check the interbike stories, there's detail in there about the power increase due to a change in pivot mechanism at the lever end

I’m confused now. Does that mean there will be two very similar tech levers? One on the x2 and m4 with a new pivot location and a different one with the same pivot position but with a roller on the v2? Why would they do that? Keeping parts common would keep cost down and avoid confusion with spares.
Using both improvements on the same lever would give the magic 30% as well.

Sicklines built up a Devinci Wilson lately, the put the new XTR Trail levers on a set of Saint calipers, and were delighted with the results
Have 3 bikes running shimano (XT/ XTR/ Saint) and 7 running hopes (mostly 6tis) and know what I'd rather have 🙂
