Do these work with 160mm/180mm rotors or must I use 163/183mm rotors. Will the reduction in radius of 1.5mm of rotor make a difference?

If the rotor is too small, it can form a lip on the pads. When the lips meet, it limits the force the pad can apply to the rotor.

I think the V4 specifically need the vented rotor as it is wider then normal to allow for the thicker rotor. Which may mean the pistons have further to travel to a normal disc and over extend.
Be something to check first other wise it is just 203mm rotors.

Yup V4 takes a 183 or 203 rotor, doesn't need to be vented but its more DH orientated.
