hey im just looking at getting a new 10 speed xt shifterHope says that there directly compatible, can anyone confirim this works without having to make any modifications?

Yep,
No problem.
Using the current XT shifters I-spec with the Tech 3 levers.
No extra parts needed.
Much better than the old Hope mounts!
