Do the newer style brakes (servo-wave) work with hope floating rotors? Cheers
if they're the correct diameter they should
didnt work on mine.....
xt 09 calipers. xt hubs. fox float rlc with hope floating rotors = no go!
rotor was catching far too much on post mount leg, coudlnt even shave a mm off to make it clear...
hopes answer was to get rid of my xt hub and get a hope pro 2 hub as they give greater clearance for the carrier on the rotor 🙁
worked out ok in the end as shimano do a nice floating rotor now 6 bolt, which isnt quite as nice to look at as the hopes, but it does just as good job, no warping, quieter in the wet and all round better sharper braking 🙂
Using XT calipers and hope floaters here with no issues

i think its more of a hub issue, i guess if running hope hubs with hope floating rotors theres very little problem?
my xt hub and diameter of the carrier was too great to spin freely 🙁
the xt floating rotor i have the carrier is indented where it bolts on meaning ive actually got greater clearance than with a normal rotor 🙂
