I need a new set as mine have snapped. Tweeks have Pro 2 springs but the code is HUB515 which is the same as indicated on Hope’s exploded Pro 4 drawing.
This suggests they’d be ok but I’m just thrown by the fact they’re not called Pro 2/3/4. Tweeks have other things I need hence wanting to order from them.
Can anyone clarify please?
If the part numbers match on the exploded diagram, you're good. I know you said you need other stuff but I find SJS are really good for clearly identifying Hope spare parts.
Pro2 and Pro4 springs are the same.
Thought they did get narrower at some point but both versions will work in either hub.
I've got spares of both still in the packets with the same part number on.
I think I was told that the narrower version were less prone to breaking but can't fully recall.
Second what bikerevivesheffield said. I have 3 x pro 4 and 1 x pro 2 freehub running the cable ties as springs. What started as a ride saving bodge has over the years turned into my first strip down upgrade when the stock springs have inevitably disintegrated.
