Which of these 2 hubs for the rear wheel of a marathon/endurance race bike?

Proper stw advice . Dt 240 is what you want.
On a more helpful note out of your choice I'd choose hope evey time

I like both Hope and DT Swiss stuff, but I'm a fan of DT Swiss hubs.

It's the same internals just a heavier housing. The DT240 will stretch the budget a bit unfortunately.

Yep I've just been on Dt Swiss site to check. But you have correcyed my error already I'd assumed the 350 didnot use the star ratchet but it does
