Are these the same as Pro 2 front hub bearing replacements?
Ta
No not for the rear - Pro II rear are : 6802 2rs x2, 6903 2rs x2, 6902 2rs x1
Pro II front are: 2x 6804 2rs so that kit should be OK?

We are talking about the front here aren't we foxy?
oops ๐ณ
Sorry - read the question then re-read the question ๐
A simple answer is yes ๐
So that kit linked ARE the correct bearings for the FRONT Pro 2?
yes, bulb and Pro2 are the same bearings for the front.
yes ๐
There's a cheapo kit that does the two main bearings in the Pro 2 rear too, think it's the "Fatso" kit on CRC below, can't remember which one I used - check the numbers.

Just checked - that's the one I used, same bearins as the Pro 2 rear main ones.
+1 Honour - but even cheaper:

I get mine from Ukbikestore - share the wealth and they are very prompt and usually have all the hope spares in stock ๐
I have the exact same quality of bearings but with my custom weather proofing. So they will not rust internally over time, hope's bearings are good quality but they only run a 25% grease fill and it's only a rotational grease.
So that leaves, let me get my calculator out, oh yes 75% air to protect the bearings internals from moisture/rusting.

kaesae,
Do you do stainless steel bearings as well?
My mate showed me his new Pro 2 Evo wheels last week and I was very impressed with how free they rotated compared to my Pro 2 hoops.
I'm assuming the difference is the stainless steel bearings ๐
The front Hope bulb bearings in the CRC kit are made by SKF as I got some last week and they are for the pro 2 also.
budgie rider67 the stainless will rotate the same as the chromium, the only difference is that the stainless will not rust.
However if you weather proof the bearings then they will be fine anyway, stainless isn't as tough as chromium so wares out quicker, also the bearings will still get crap into them, if enough builds up the bearing will still seize.
I prefer to run top end bearings and weather proof them, stainless/ ceramic, I haven't seen a better alternative yet to be honest.
Cheers kaesae, I will bear that (and you!) in mind when I need some replacements ๐
I went down to a bearing company near by and picked up the Hope front bearings for 2.50 each.
Bonesetter, let us know how you get on with those bearings โ I don't think they'll last all that long and you'll simply have to replace them which means time and hassle.
That said it would be good to know, how long they last you.
