I have a couple of the cheap lights from China and have bought a Hope clamp from chain reaction.
The only problem is that the bolt that came with the light is too short to securely hold the lamp onto the mount.
I cannot find any other bolts lying around that will do, so wanted to purchase a couple. I have no idea how they would be noted, length I'm sure but what else?
If anyone knows it would save me some time!
Thanks
surely they will just be M3?
Just take it too a good hardware shop and ask for a longer one.
Probably M3.
If no one here knows (and sorry I don't), a thread pitch gauge off ebay is about a fiver, or if you have any independent fixing shops nearby, they can be very helpful.
I used M4 bolts on my setup, if I wanted to order them from e-bay I'd search for
stainless m4 x 20
for 20mm long bolts for example
