Seems that shops will happily sell 180mm Hope rotors but no-one seems to sell Hope's model 'L' adaptor:

I realise I can get other makes of adaptor to run 180mm rotors, but prefer to have Hope brakes, adaptors and discs - as it just always works without any faff

Anyone come across an 'L' anywhere ?

I use a 'H' adapter for that - works fine.

snaps - to confirm, you're using an 'H' with a 180mm rotor and the brake pads aren't overlapping the outer edge of the rotor ?

Less than 1mm at the rotors widest diameter (sawtooth floater)
Not been a problem in over 2k miles on my hardtail.

" Less than 1mm at the rotors widest diameter (sawtooth floater) "

you mean the pads do overlap, but only by less than 1mm ?

Really it's not a problem
I too use a H adaptor instead, it's been fine on 3 seats of Hope brakes (Minis, Mono Mini2's, V2's) and some Shimano XT

OK thanks

Ian - I'm being pedantic here, but your V2 rotors will have been 183mm ๐Ÿ˜‰

pad overlap isnt too much of a problem, until the unworn parts touch each other. Thats when the pistons start twisting and you quickly run out of braking power.
