After some new brakes and currently have hope m4 with braided hose, if I were to buy a set of x2 would the fittings on my current hose match up so I could just swap the calipers and levers over, I think the caliper would be straight swap not sure on levers. Anyone know thanks just as my hose is already cut it would be handy and save 20 quid too 😉

Yes and if you follow the instructions on the Hope Youtube video you won't need to bleed them either.

Yes. Older Hope brakes used a 6mm hose, but your M4 and X2 would both use 5mm hoses and fittings, so should swap over just fine.
