Hit a outcrop at an angle with my rear wheel this morning which kicked the wheel out sideways.
Now the freehub sounds like a warped brake disc i.e grind no noise grind etc then...sticking, frees then sticks. Help!
Bent axle?
Tbh they're only held together by the dropouts so first thing to do us pull it out the bike and confirm that it's not started disassembling itself.
Rear rim already had a fair wibble/missing spoke..
Cassette catching on another broken spoke?
Checked that
Broken axle, done 2 of them. Alloy axle?
Broken pawls in freehub?
Worn freehub where pawls fit allowing them to disslodge?
Knackered wheel/freehub bearings?
All problems I have had on both my rear hubs 🙄
Will have a look. Its been sterling for 18 fettle free months since new so maybe its due
