Looking at getting a rear Evo 12mm hub, are the axle kits all you need or do you have to replace the bearings still when changing the axle to 12mm?
Also, 12mm seems to be bolt thru only (I would would prefer bolt up liek the 10mm) so I take it a seperate 135x12mm axle is required.
With the EVO it's just the end caps you change between QR/10mm/12mm. I've been running them for a few months now and not snapped an axle which could not be said for the old Pro2.
To run a bolt up yes you would need an axle as the hub comes without, but there are plenty of options.
Axle kit is all you need.
No you will need to buy a 12 mm threw axle.
is your bike 12 mm compatible? most frame come with a 12 mm axle if they are designed to use one.
messiah, end caps and axle surely like this- http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=21849 ?
Frame can have new 12mm droputs.
slight hijack, but I've a spare Superstar 12mm X 135mm axle for sale. Never used....
email in profile if its any use.
Above link is for the old Pro2 not the EVO - for the evo it is just the end caps
These are the options... for EVO ONLY!

The pictures confuse as you don't get the axle bit except with the 10mm bolt in - for most of the kits you just the end caps!
