I am running 9 speed set up with these but would like to put them on my other bike which is 10 speed, will they fit or will i have change anything...
Short answer yes
Long answer yes, because the 10 speed cassette is designed to be the same width as a 9 speed.
Cool! Thank's ๐
IIRC 10sp road cassettes are marginally narrower than 9sp, so you need a thin spacer at the wheel end of the freehub. Are MTB 10sp cassettes the same?
Andy
If a spacer is required to fit the cassette it should come with it.
IIRC, no, partly because I guess they're designed with compatibility with existing wheels in mind, but I'm not 100% certain.
Will have a go fitting tomorrow..
No spacers with 10 speed MTB cassettes, it'll go straight on.
No spacers with 10 speed MTB cassettes, it'll go straight on.
That go for SRAM as well, given that SRAM MTB & road groups are purported to be cross compatible?
Andy
Yep.
They fitted no bother,
Thanks for the info ๐
