trying to service a rear XC hub, it's probably 6 or 7 years old and not been serviced at all.
The end caps came off easy enough as did the freehub.
But I can't drift the axle out.
I split a bit of 2*4 last night, was using it to protect the axle end while using a 4 pound lump hammer.
It's now sitting in wd40 for a day, any other tips??

Drop an old bolt in the end of the axle so you can whack the bolt head with a proper hammer.

thanks guys, was going to use heat tonight anyway, good tip for the old bolt.
