[#1707139]

Right I refuse to pay the price Avid want for this and I know I can make one up for peanuts but I need to buy in bulk.

M5 Barbed Fittings 20 27.73
20ml Syringes 20 5.98
5MM Pipe 5m 3.99
Clamp 20 9.96
£47.66

So £48 makes 10 up

I want 1 if I can get 9 more who def put there name down for one I'll buy them and distribute at cost (not looking to make any profit)

So just over a fiver for a bleed kit?

Only tell me if you deff want one, I really don't want 10 of these 😐

I am sure you'd get a tenner per kit on ebay for that: someone does similar with o-ring kits for forks.

Nah, I'll ask for the money once I've got all the bits, know the postage cost and tested it works okay.

I'm not worried about my time so it will be to the penny of what it cost me.

Not doing this to make a profit, although somebody should, and I'd be happy to send anybody the source of the bits.

I reckon cost will be just under a fiver posted, so if somebody could be bothered (joblesstrackworld?) to sell them at £9.99 here (i'd have bought one at that), Bikeradar, ebay etc. Make a fiver per sale. Sell 50 of these and you have £250 in your back pocket. Sell a 100 and so on....

Yep, when I've tested it, don't want to send people up the wrong path until I know it works all the bits fit together etc.

I did this for my mates in a half arsed kind of way.
So, I got the syringes, tubing (make sure it's brake fluid proof), fluid and barbs. then I found out that Juicy threes have a different bleed port and wouldn't work with the barbs I have, so I gave up.

Anyone wants a kit (including 100ml Rock Oil fluid) for £10 including postage, email me (as long as you haven't got 3s).
I'm not doing any more of these once they're gone - I could just do with clearing the box of crap under my desk.

no idea if the hose is brake fluid proof?

Barbs and hose arrived today, hopefully these look like the right thing?

I'll be testing on my Avid Elixir so won't be able to test Juicy 3s

You can check the hose. Fill it with fluid and leave it overnight - if it's the wrong stuff it'll be on the outside of the tube by the morning.

I think you're in the same boat as me with the barb - doesn't look like that'll fit in the body of a 3.
