Morning All
Its renewing the home insurance time which leads to the "whats best for bikes" conundrum. Our previous insurance came with the mortgage so we didnt get a say in the matter. As thats now expired we can get something thats more suitable.
We have 3 bikes that value at approx £4500 which are kept inside the house and all of them are custom builds. Do you have to specify exactly what parts make up the bike or does "items up to a value of X" cover this, do you get new for old cover? I dont have receipts so would have to rely on lots of photis of every part of each build.
I've found lots of mentions of M&S being good and they state "just tell us about any item, set or collection worth £4,000 or more". With this in mind would all three bikes class as a collection/set?
Any others worth looking at? I had looked at seperate cover for the bikes but that worked out to be around around £400 for the year 😮
