I need a replacement BB for my HT II BB.
Where is the CHEAPEST place o buy one.
Yes I know I'm tight.
Replacing the bearings yourself is probably the cheapest option...
greasy, what jam bo said. Have a look at previous threads, a set of bearings is £4.50 off ebay and its pretty straightforward to remove the old ones and replace em. Certainly if youre tight its the only way.

cut and paste my post from there...
2 new bearings less than a fiver from ebay. About 15 minutes to fit. Search "what external BB" in forum search, a load of us are doing it, and "how to" and ebay links were posted along with positive results.

you knock the bearings out in the same manner. then you want 2 of these
£4.50 vs £25. I know which I prefer.
Thanks guys. As it happens the bearings are fine - I re-greased them recently. However I believe the noise that is coming from my BB may be because one of the dust covers is falling apart. Don't s'pose you can buy then separately.
