In a fit of misplaced optimism, I've signed up as a solo entrant.
Course looks superb from the preview ride, the best one so far and we'll be camping on the Saturday night, despite Ms Spanner's house being ten minutes walk away - would be rude not to listen to the band and enjoy the convivial company of the other, ahem, 'athletes'. ๐
Looking forward to wrecking the bike and myself (again), meeting more people from this place and throwing mud at the organisers.
Oh, and as no-one seems to be answering the call for musical requests on the HtN website, I'll stick mine up here if nobody objects?
Motorhead - Hawkwind.
The Waiting Room - Fugazi.
Copperhead Road - Steve Earle.
Standing in the rain - Husker Du.
Sally Cinnamon - The Stone Roses.
Something for everyone there, I'm sure you'll agree.........
Anyone else in already?
Not yet.
But will Be.
Tony?
Stuart?
Pete?
Big lads reunion???
Alright Rusty? HtN wouldn't be the same without battle hardened vets such as yourself ๐
The new course combines plenty of suffering and some new bermy bits
Solo, pairs and teams of 3, so you big lads will have to split up.
We've also got a beer tent run by these lovely ladies.
A ska band and a DJ.
Loads more guff at hitthenorth.net including a DJ request page here
Come on people, don't be shy.
We need your cash so we can start writing some eye-wateringly large cheques! ๐
