Thanks for posting this, reminded me of the excitement of getting my first BMX (a Burner) in the early 80's. And similar excitement getting my first mountain bike (a Mongoose) in the early 90's.

Enjoyed the vid, ta. Chris Akrigg does appear to be a nice bloke. However, I've yet to meet him on the local trails to decide if he's as nice as people think. ๐Ÿ˜€ I'm sure he is.

A lovely history lesson. Really enjoyed it.

My first quality bike was a 1981 Mongoose Supergoose II.

I wish my 1st BMX was a Mongoose but sadly it was a Puch Murray!

Brought back some great memories though...

My first, red Skyways.

Bunnyhopping milkcrates.

& building quarterpipes ๐Ÿ™‚
