Any ever hired a van in Italy before and could recommend some companies? We'd be flying into Turin and then doing a mini road trip for the week – we'd considered getting a ford galaxy and taking some of the seats out to fit the bikes in, but the rental companies expressed horror at the idea of me leaving some of the seats with them.
Obvious thing would be to hire a transit connect or something for the bikes and a fiesta to transport the people. However finding a van hire place at turin airport seems to be a bit tricky.
Finally anyone know if Italy has any funny laws regarding hiring vans to people – all the drivers would be over 25 so hopefully that won't be a problem.
