anyone got any or point me in the direction of a site that does? after some nice pictures for windows 7 with hd monitor to cheer this bleery day up? can be your own pics of riding, nice mtb scenery etc etc

go to flickr.com and do a search for "mountainbike", combine with further attributes like "epic" etc until satisfied with results. quite a lot of people upload hi-res versions of their images there.

1366 x 768 isn't particularly high resolution, so there should be loads out there - as mentioned, flickr is great for it. Most people don't restrict their photo's use either, but do check on the page first.
