575 would be a chunk of weight lighter in guessing? Prob not quite as burly either..

I traded up to a 575 from an 04 enduro and love it!

I just want to get some confidence on some downhill and big rocks I've already got a yeti asr I'm quite new to the sport but love it. Keep falling off at mo tho haha. Thanks for ur reply guys much appreciated.

Traded up from an 04 enduro to my 575 for a similar reason..
Wanted something a bit tougher/more downy but still fairly light and able to climb.
575 fitted the bill perfectly, still does.
Shame I only get to use it properly two or three times a month these days (commuting doesn't count but hey, it's all riding I guess!)

I'd stick with the Patriot personally...
