Anyone up for a ride out from Hertford? Bridleways, rupps, boats - you get the idea. It's pleasant riding, nothing white-knuckle scary (that I know of - but ready to be shown different). Speed-wise, I'm female and 54, not a slouch, but not a fast as a man or young person.

Stacey. I'm in Welwyn until 23/1 then Surrey until 14/2 - then back to Hertford area (or I might emigrate to Surrey for good lol).

Elaine, yes, I'll do another ride later in the year. In any event will be back for Start of Summertime (27/3 - warning - dark side).

Let's say The Farmers Boy, Brickendon 9.30 for 10 Sunday 17/1. We can have a coffee/pint after if anyone has time/inclination.

I have a big blue 4x4 - you can't miss it.

I'm fork-less atm otherwise might have tagged along but please keep an eye out for my strada wireless which is somewhere in the forest not far from brickendon - I think it came off somewhere along that long singletack running east? through cowheath and brambles wood which eventually pops out near daneswood at the bottom of that long straight climb to Monks Green. Happened last week and came off in the snow and must have buried itself somewhere! Gutted! ๐Ÿ˜

Cheers

The woods are WET WET WET (Marty Pellow anyone?) but I'll be at the Farmer's Boy as planned

The ride will be roughly 38k with about 1/3rd on road ๐Ÿ™ and about 2/3rds off road ๐Ÿ™‚

Enfht - bummer about your computer - will keep an eye out.

Looking forward to it, I think there will be plenty of riders on the trials tomorrow with the sunshine. See you at the farmers around 9.30.

Good morning ๐Ÿ™‚

There was a slight frost last night = clear sky = no rain.

Due to poor navigation I made it to Brickendon super late and missed this.

Hope you all had a good ride. At least I'll know where I'm going if there's another one.
