This morning i suddenly pedaled very hard and there were a couple of loud cracks and now my free hub will spin freely unless i only apply the lightest pedal pressure. also if i try to freewheel the hib sticks and the chain & derallier wraps up.
i had a few slips leading up to this that i ignored but it seems well and truely fuked now!
What the prognosis? what do i need to replace / fix and do i need any special tools?
It's a 2012 SLX hub (cone bearings) with 10spd cassette if that makes a difference.

The freehub is ****ed. You'll need to replace it. Cassette off which needs a chain whip and a cassette tool. Cone spanners to remove axle. Then a 10mm allen key will unscrew freehub.Pop a new one on and reverse...Blow up pic here
If it's 2012, i'd take it back for a warranty replacement(unless you've been blasting it with a jetwash, or doing other silly things to it).
