I'm thinking of getting rid of my 1x1 and getting a Karate Monkey.
I have a 20" 1x1 which I run with a 70mm Stem and Jones Loop bars, these will go across to the KM. I have a 34" inside leg and I'm 6'3.
Should I go for an 18" to compensate for the bigger wheels or a stick with a 20"? Always felt like the 20" 1x1 was a bit of a gate, but do love it.
I'm 6' with a 32" inside leg and i had an 18" Monkey. Fitted just about spot on if that's any help to you.
Hmm. Using an 18" myself at my height of 174cm and that feels nice.
At your height I think a 20" is the way forward.
Oddly, they seem to be sized not to need any compensation for the wheels.
6', 34" inside leg 18" KM with 110mm stem and titec H bar (hence the longer stem).
Whereabouts are you, maybe you could get a ride on a 20" and 18" and then decide. I had an 18" 1x1 and immediately felt more at home on the KM. Hard to say why as the ETT is the same on both. Probably down to KM bars being set higher which works for me.
