[Closed] help! what torque for clamping my stem to my new carbon bars

its all very confusing

easton havoc dh bars
they say see stem manufacturer; raceface 2 bolt prodigy no joy on interweb

sram rocket shifters
hope mono levers
odi ruffians
can find no info on any

best i can see is about 5-6nm for stems

edit sram appears to be 2.5-4nM for shifters

After ruining an £80 pair of carbon bars through overtightening brake lever clamps, I spent a further £50 on a torque wrench only to find that I could achieve similar torque if I held an L shaped hex key by the short end and tightened the bolt by inserting the long end. It's very difficult to overtighten bolts this way.

This top tip was brought to you at my great expense 👿

Kimbers where did you find the carbon Havocs? I can't find anyone selling them in the UK yet 🙁
