its the time of year were i have the chance to get a new bike....
i have 1400 to spend and its on a government incentive scheme thingy what do i go for.

reasosn for brompton: my journey is ride to a station train to london ride to work
reason for 29er: see what all the fuss is about,very different from my epic is many ways.29er i was looking at was the cube reaction gtc pro or the giant xtc 1 29er
thoughts feed back and suggestions very welcome.any bikes worth looking at please say/link

I feel a bit short changed having been drawn into your thread by the prospect of a Brompton 29er. 😀
What bike do you currently use for your commute. If the journey is bearable, buy a 29er. The ones you mention are fine. The On-Ones would be well worth a look at that price too, if you can get them through your scheme.
