Morning,
i've recently bought a 2nd hand Genesis Vapour and i need to replace the front brake pads, they are Shimano A550 cantilever brakes. I have absolutely no clue on road or cx bikes, i need something that will be half decent off road as my commute is a mix of woods, coastal path and road. Having a look around online has only confused me, i didn't realise there was so much choice, not sure if i need rubber blocks or the whole thing!
Can someone point a confused mountain biker who is out of his comfort zone in the right direction please?

just get some Kool Stop salmon compound inserts - last well and work better in the wet.
