I have a Lumotec lyt LED N Plus mounted on my Brompton and it's been very good.

However, this morning it's developed a rattle and it appears that the capacitor inside it must have come loose as the standlight doesn't work now, but if you tap the light, the standlight briefly comes on.

So, does anyone know if there is any way of opening this particular light up without destroying it in the process? Or is it a case of just get a replacement?

Thanks

Well, it turns out the lens is a simple press fit affair, and gently prising it out results in un restricted access to everything inside. Two self tappers hold everything else in, so simple to get the gubbins out. Was then just a simple solder job on a dodgy connection
