Ok Obscure memory Q.
In the last week or so I heard an interview on radio 4 with an anthropolgist /economist/sociologist who had written a few off the wall books about the behaviour of people on the new york stock exhange and other funny books on the madness of crowds etc..
Can you remember who it was? I've scoured the radio 4 schedules and various listen agains and podcasts and cannot blimmin find it. It isn't Daniel Ben Ami..
Yes I heard this, I tweeted about it. Will be able to go back and find the day at least.
Brb...
Malcolm Gladwell? Didn't hear it but it sounds like his schtick...
Doh found it : sound link from today program tues 14th dec 2010 Its Nassim Nicholas Taleb, The Black Swan, The Bed of Procrustes and Fooled by randomness.
It was 8th November. Would have been either on today program or whatever was right after that.
Hope that helps!
