In the process of building my Kaffenback, the forks I thought were 700c are actually smaller.

Wheels fits fine, thats the easy bit. Without thinking about where the rim should be I went to bolt on the brakes and found the bosses to be too low. But then they are too high for 26" wheels.

What gives? Are they 650b or 27" or summit?

On the back of that, who does lightish 700c forks with canti mounts for a reasonable amount. Thinking Onone is probably best.

Cheers

On one are the best for a value 700c fork, but would be worth looking for a know p2 or salsa fork

Ill get a pic in the morning.

Dont really know the salsa forks. Prefer not to have a straight bladed one like the p2. Just think the curved ones look better.

What about the surly crossheck fork?
