Just finishing the rebuild of my Surly CrossCheck with some gears and last choice is the bar tape colour...
So the frame is black as are the contact points, the wheels are silver and the so is most of the drive train, Green Brooks team Pro with Copper rivets is the only brake from the black and silver.
The question is do I go with some subtle black or grey bar tape or some green or crazy other colour tape? Suggestions and pics appreciated...
Black, or you could go for [s]white[/s] beige.
if you've got a green saddle then I'd look for somethign that matched that.
although people won't see the saddle when you're ridign so maybe just stick with the blakc theme?
Jaguar Green should match the saddle. Try Deda tape on PBK.
I use Black if you want to look like me, or Silver carbonium effect on the road bike.
Purple. It's the obvious choice.
Or if you want to be a La De Da Gunner Graham you could attempt that proper poncy interwoven two tape thingy wotsit. Though you might just want to ride instead.
