It is my son's helmet he got for Christmas and he has barely worn it. It is missing one of the metal parts that attach the straps to the helmet - it is like a little metal rod.
It was definitely there when he first had it. Should I ask Bell for a replacement part?

yes, and if they cant get one in a new helmet is at most 20 quid from Halfords if your son likes green and has the right size head.
