Hi all,
My 2008 Float 140R's are leaking from the bolt at the bottom of the lowers on the rightside leg, oil coming out is defo from them and is looking in good condition.
Forks haven't been serviced and are out of warranty anyway, so - any ideas/advice? suspect it's just a knackered seal, no signs of cracking or anything drastic and the fork still rides nicely.

Don't know, but you could ring Mojo, and ask advice.

Assuming that you've checked it's tight already, try a new plastic crush washer under the bolt.If they're old enough to be out of warranty then i'd be thinking they were due a service anyway.

Thanks gents, didn't realise the warranty is 2 years - and they're certainly due a service i know that much!

I have had 2 sets of air/oil Bombers in the past that went years without services (and with plenty of hammer) and never leaked a drop...

Guess this is the price to pay for having already paid a huge price for something?!
Don't get me worng - I love the forks, but surely some of the additional expense in them is meant to go toward them lasting longer and being more reliable than the cheaper competition?

Will head to my LBS tonight and see what they reckon.

When you got the forks did they come with an instruction manual? Inside it tells you the service intervals to maintain your forks in proper working order. I say this incase you got the forks fitted to a new bike already, with no manual. You can download a manual from the fox website. Considering what you say about their usage, and the time interval between servicing, I can't see fox fixing them under warranty as you need to follow their service advise to maintain the warranty. Servicing a heavily used fork annually is pretty standard for any manufacturer, if not 6 months if very heavy use.
